Nintendo DS and GBA Accessories
Here is a new section covering the handheld gaming accessories you may come across, what they look like, and what they are used for. There are also comments by myself on how good the gadget is at it's purpose, and how you get the damn thing!
Carry Cases
DS Lite Case
This is a case for carrying your Nintendo DS around with you, and comes in the colours of white with a red Nintendo logo, also being made of a light, plastic kind of substance. I got this free with Nintendo Official Magazine, so if you subscribed, or bought it in shops, you should be able to get this.
GBA Micro Case
Another free gift, this is a cool little Gameboy Micro case. However, since the console it's meant for is tiny, no normal machine can fit in this small thing. Remember, photos are not to scale.
DS Action Replay Carts
Action Replay DS
If you have a DS, this is exactly what you need to cheat with the games for it. It has all the cool codes for Mario Kart DS, Metroid Prime Hunters, New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario 64 DS all in one box, and is a great tool I've heard for cheats.
To use, you plug in the catridge, select the cheats, take it out and plug in the game, while the console is on.
Why to get it/Why I may buy it
Because it has codes to access the beta and test levels in Mario Kart DS and Super Mario 64 DS. As a key part of my site is Beta related, I am very shortly thinking of purchasing this device (still not as important as a domain name though).
Action Replay Duo
The less impressive one. This isn't a DS cheat code cart, but simply a save manager for the DS games, and a code device for the GBA games. However, apart from maybe backing up important saves, I see nothing I would want from this, and since I have a GBA Action Replay, I'm waiting for the Action Replay DS.
GBA Game Enhancers
Action Replay DS
As you can see from above, this is the premier cheat device for the GBA. With plenty of awesome codes to use (I found many things with the Wario Land 4 walk through walls code, and transormations), and easy to use, this is the thing to buy for GBA cheating fanatics!
It has plenty of good codes, for games such as Super Mario Advance games, and Pokemon, and is perfectly safe to your games!
Xploder for GBA
Not such a good device, this is okay for some things. However, two things stop me from recommending this piece of kit. One, is how if you use too many codes and save with them on, you can corrupt your game data, as seen here from Mario Advance 2, Super Mario World 'Missingno Mario':
Also, it can make a funny smell of burnt metal after use, and I am just a little worried by this.
