Defend Your Castle Review
Today we will be discussing a Wii Shop game called "Defend Your Castle". This game was originally a flash game, but was ported recently to the Shop Channel because of its popularity.
Defend Your Castle, or DYC for short, is a game in which you as the player, must use your cursor (on-screen it appears as a bread clip) to prevent invading armies (shown as an assortment of stick-figures, with all sorts of weapons) from attacking your castle. (it is made of cardboard, as well as the whole battlefield) First you start out just picking up and flicking the normal enemies to their doom, but you must expand your Castle defending skills as the levels and number of enemy armies becomes greater.
The number of skills and abilities are great, but at higher levels the challenges may prove too great or repetitive at times. It has no end, or even a plot to speak of, but even so, doing this with up to four people at a time is great fun, and very much worth the points.
I give this game a 7/10 for the average gamer, and a 9/10 for those freaks out there willing to find out every ability and number cap for HP and "add-ons".
