NintenDan's Second Weekly Article

Welcome fellow readers to the second edition of my weekly article, which has yet to be named! Well, I'm trying to think of something catchy, contains my name in some way, and rhymes, like "NintenDan News", except more hip with the young kids, (All the oldies know what I'm talking 'bout!), so if you have a neat suggestion, feel free to post it on the forums if you're a member. If not, feel free to join by all means, but only if you want to.

Moving on to my topic today, I've been just sitting at home really due to being sick. But I'm getting better. That meant that I had a lot of free time to lounge around, play Mario Kart Wii, and think about things while I was whooping the computers. Sadly, the whooping the computers part did not go to plan. But I did think about stuff when I wasn't constantly being blown to bits by Blue Shells, POW Blocks and Red Shells every 5 seconds or so. And this was it. Now, this is going to be such an awkward topic to read, and for me to write, but I was looking at my hefty character selection and wanted to play as everyone. I eventually got to Peach after Mazza and Weegee, and of course, chose the Mach Bike and found Peach's, well, tight costume. That got me thinking, did Nintendo want it to be so darn... tight? I mean, race as Peach in a kart, pull off a trick and you get an instant upskirt view of her (not saying I choos Peach just for this...), so why change it on the bike? I actually do think Nintendo did want it to look, well, feminine on her as they could possibly be trying to establish that Peach is a woman, not a "girl" as she has been commonly portrayed as in a few earlier games. Pretty weird if you ask me. The same goes for the hideous Daisy and the monotone Rosalina chick, who's mother is dead. Sorry, just thought I'd throw that random piece of info out there. I never knew, so why can't you?

Moving on from that awkward business, we continue to more awkward business... the exact same topic as before! What a shock! But yes, another sort of shocker to me was Zero Suit Samus. Of course, you'll probably be thinking to yourself how much of a "little boy/girl/donkey" for pointing out these factors, but it's just something I never expected from Nintendo. But yeah, when Samus got a Final Smash, BAM! And then she'd lose her suit and be in nothing but yet again, a tight suit. You see, this sort of thing I would've expected Microsoft or Sony (X Box or Playstation consoles), to have made a female character in such a way, but never Nintendo. I'm thinking it was because so often in Nintendo's past they avoided doing those sort of things. That didn't bother me at all, I just cared about if Shy Guy was in there, playable or not. But now, recently, Nintendo's been doing all the stuff I never expected in terms of character design. Fairly scary stuff. If my predictions are correct from this knowledge, expect to see a... well... "sexier" if you want to call it that, Peach. I know, another disturbing comment, but that's just how I think the tables are turning as of now. I may, then again, be terribly wrong and this whole article is a massive misunderstanding, but from Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, this seems to be the direction that the game company is heading.

So, all in all, Nintendo will be feminising it's popular female characters in the future I think. Could this perhaps mean a return of the popular Captain Syrup, that chick in the Wario Land series? With a new Wario Land or something announced, it's possible. And what will we expect to see in Super Mario Sluggers? I'm going to say most of the human characters will return in those "short shorts" that Peach and the like were seen wearing in the first Mario Baseball game. And will we be seeing a Mario in nothing but leopard print underpants? One prays that Nintendo doesn't do that...

But it seems we've reached the end of my second article. I know it wasn't as long as the former, but it should of hopefully been a good read. It captured your attention when I said "tight", didn't it? Admit it. Go on. No-one will judge you. No, I'll shut up now.

Before I leave, remember this piece of wisdom, passed from generation to generation:

"To be a Shy Guy, one must become a Shy Guy"

Other than that, from the Guy to the Shy, I'll be heading off.
