In most forums, this would be a question of 'snaking' or 'non-snaking', but here, since we like to be professional game players, this is question of to SSMT or not to SSMT.
I personally use Straight Stretch Mini Turbo, as it is simply using what the game has given you to go faster, and I use it because I am playing to win, not playing just to play a game of luck (anyone who wants luck should just play a luck based game in the first place). Besides, Nintendo officially have endorsed it a few times already.
