I don't, but you may want to pm or AIM Conicsonic5. He has one, and I think he suffered from a connection problem with a wifi connector as well, having to resort to posting here, on Gamefaqs and Nsider to fix it. Oh, and welcome!

I know a fair bit, even though I have not connected myself...

But, you have a USB connector WiFi thing right? All you need is a fast internet connection (broadband). Also, any electrical appliance, (TV, microwave, etc.) could be interupting the signal, so make sure anything like that is away from the USB. You could read the book for troubleshooting?

Yeah, not much, but that's all I know...

Well its worked before but it just doesn't seem to work. I've tried cahnging the channel and settings but nothing happens.

Okay. I do not really have any other advice, but you can keep trying and hope it works.

I've had trouble connecting, except at hotspots. I've tried at game shops, but couldn't connect with MKDS because that specific game won't work, and I've been so desperate to try connect, I went to Mc'Donalds, (A so-called hotspot), but It didn't work there either! ARGHHH!!

Have you tried changing things such as the connection settings and the like? It could also be a minor error with your game, as there can be many flaws in quite a few game carts for the DS.

Well I didn't get it working but I did get the offical one. But that won't connect to the ds. It keeps coming up error code 52003. Does anyone know what to do?

Not really. I wish I could help though, as online does sound like a fun thing but I do not personally have any experience of playing online or using the Wifi connection.

Try looking at Nintendo's Wifi Technical Support though:

and please enjoy the DS Ultimate forums!

I got it to work. Thanks for your help.

That's okay. And now you can play online, and post about the other aspects of the DS games!

I read the Animal Crossing book. Thing is, you can't travel around unless if you have someone else's friend code. And since no-body I know has this game, It wouldn't matter If I couldn't connect. I wouldn't be able to go anywhere!

Well if you have it then i could visit you or vise versa. My fc is in my sig.

Oh, okay. Just saying as it did not seem to be there at the time of posting.

NintenDan

Sorry. I can't actually get onto Wi-Fi, as I don't have the requirements. I know HOW to connect, I just CAN'T. Wish I could though...

What exactly is the problem here? Did you check the Wifi site for information and tried everything? If nothing seems to work, you are either doing something wrong or screwed.

NintenDan
23rd January 2007, 09:20 AM
I don't have broadband or a wireless router, and no hotspots that actually work (stupid Mc'Donalds...) are near where I live. Which is some bad luck...

Basically, I'm "screwed"

cheat-master30
24th January 2007, 06:33 PM
Well, you may not be screwed. Try looking around for hotspots such as other people's routers!

NintenDan
25th January 2007, 06:38 AM
Ha Ha! Funny one. But I doubt that'd ever work for me...

cheat-master30
25th January 2007, 03:48 PM
Why not? Does no one nearby own a router?

NintenDan
26th January 2007, 07:26 AM
Nope... And I rarely ever go to friend's places. (Too much hassling around and organising...) But I'm fine with playing single-player!! Plus, Wi-Fi has some limits, Eg. Tracks to choose on MKDS.

Yeah, I prefer offline play to online play as well.

NintenDan
27th January 2007, 08:18 AM
And there's no annoying lag or people disconnecting! I like how your hunter's license show's your connection history. If it's under 50 percent, then no-one would play you... There's lag in a DS Wirless play as well. I noticed when playing it in Maths with a friend under the desks. He sat one desk behind me, but It was the last day of school and we weren't learning anything, so it was fine.

cheat-master30
27th January 2007, 11:46 AM
Yeah. I wish Mario Kart DS had a connection history feature.

NintenDan
28th January 2007, 05:26 AM
It'd be great if that used that feature for upcoming Wi-Fi games!

cheat-master30
28th January 2007, 01:53 PM
I hope so. That way you can tell who is a sore loser and not have to play them online. Or to search players with only above a certain connection history.

NintenDan
29th January 2007, 07:30 AM
That's a smart idea. No-one will play with somebody with less than 70% probably. But if the person's just having trouble, not a sore loser, than that may not be great for him...

cheat-master30
29th January 2007, 05:32 PM
If they are having trouble, they can take out their anger on their computer or router!

NintenDan
31st January 2007, 08:31 AM
Good Point! Plus, the Wi-Fi site is all you need for troubleshooting! So there's no excuse for a low connection rate!

And if you get caught at work, quickly put the game to sleep mode, then press a random button a few minutes at a time until you win or lose.

Okay then. And why are you "agressive" at this current moment?
