"Have you noticed yourself forgetting things lately? Do you have trouble articulating exactly what you want to say? These symptoms may be allevated by training your brain. but such training is not just for adults, children too, may be able to heighten their creativity and memory-and learn self control-by training their brain.

Now to the review!

The following review is made by Devin Dewan A.K.A. Nintendofanthr33

As we all may now what this game is about, da' brain!

~Brain~

Both hemispheres on the human brain are divided into 4 different parts: the Frontal Lobe, Temporal Lobe, Parietal Lobe, and the Occipital Lobe. The Prefrontal region (Which makes up a large part of Frontal Lobe) is a foundation of creativity, memory, communication, and self-control. its role described as the "brain within a brain!"

~Gameplay~

Brain age 2 is an educational game (So there is very little fun) so your brain will be trained; as what Ryuta wants you to be. there are 3 modes which are Brain age check, Training, and Sudoku. In Brain Age check you'll be tested with 3 games depending on if your in a quiet area or not, if you are then you'll be using the microphone (SWEET!!) to play games like rock, paper scissors. you'll be graded by values you obtained by doing the 3 tests, and also obtaind by functionally monitoiring of the prefrontal cortex. In training you can play from many diffrent games, such as Piano player! Sudoku is a favorited puzzle by many so many of us should now. Sudoku you try to get all 1-9 numbers in a line, if there is more than the same number its either you messed up a little or your screwed. when you get everything in Training you'll be able to play a game called virus Buster, its just like DR. Mario but you use the stylus to move the capsules.

Gameplay: 4/5

~Controls~

The game mainly uses the stylus and the microphone. its quite hard to write or you'll need too write the correct way. for example i write my 3's down to up, in brain age 2 you write em from up to down. the microphone is a little hard to use cause you'll to literally say the word without an accent. you won't be using the control pad too much, you'll only be using it in sudoku to move to another box.

Controls: 2.5/5

~Other Things~

well there is many other things to do like look at what you've done in Brain age 2, Like see your scores in Piano player or compare your status with friends! You can also change your Sig (Name) by writing down whatever your name is. You can as well get tips in the game!

~VS Mode~

ahh, yes the VS mode where you play agianst you friends to see whose the smartest within your neighborhood! there are 4 games which many are pros at, these are Picture drawing, number memory, change maker, word scramble.

VS mode: 4.5/5

~Graphics~

of course everythings 2-D but Ryuta is not... The graphics in this game are 2-D, such as the clock in clock spin, or the digital clock. Sudoku gives you a close look at the number font within the game, the chinese letters are also well made in sudoku. the button layout is impressive including the graphs.

Graphics: 3/5

Overall: 7

I don't get why Ryuta is making this game while hardly anyones buying it. I like it at least it made me focus better. even though its a education game that doesn't mean you can just buy the game and play doctor mario. play the piano with classical songs or solve quick and easy math problems.

This is a good review. I noticed you referred to the software as a game, when it's actually not. It is really an educational program.
