Rainbow Bowser or Normal Bowser?

In the first Super Mario 64 game, there was a version of Bowser in all rainbow colours from what I can recall, in the final battle, while in this game, there is just normal Bowser in the final battle. Which one do you think is a better boss in appearance and coolness?

rainbow bowser looks like a froob, and nowmal bowser is just awesome, and noone messes with awesomeness.

Actually, the best would be my fan idea based on Rainbow Bowser... Rainbow Bowser's darkest thoughts as a gigantic figure in the distance, aka Yoshi's Island with a ring of fire around the arena and normal looking Rainbow Bowser in the foreground breathing star shapes of fire, firing lightning bolts and teleporting...

Dude. The reason I appeared rainbow colored was obvious! It is the light from the purplish sky, and green arena! That made me appear rainbow colored. It's science! I looked great that way though. But they made my figure look SO UGLY in the original SM 64. If I could just have looked then as I do now, in Super Mario 64 DS, or, better yet, New Super Mario Bros....Grrr...Bowser}
