Most powerful creatures in the Mario series?

What would consider the most powerful monsters in the Mario series, excluding bosses? I would say this must be one of them:

99 HP, 20 attack. That's tougher than most bosses, and it's a normal enemy! I would say others for this title would be normal Amazee Dayzees, Elite Wizerds, Dark Bristles, Tap Taps, Lunge Fish and certain other monsters...

Aiiiiii! Wouldn't want to run into that in a Dark Alley! Maybe the oh-so evil "Endless Pit"? Featured in nearly every game possible, you fall to your so very un-painfall death! Sound "scary"?

255 HP? That's more than Bowser in Paper Mario 1, Shadow Queen in Paper Mario 2, Bonetail in Paper Mario 2, and Super Dimentio in Super Paper Mario! Imagine that, a NORMAL ENEMY tougher than the final boss in most games!

Not counting paper mario stuff, I would say that massive eel thing from NSMB because you can't kill it. :)
