Note: I don't actually want a futuristic Legend of Zelda game, so don't think I am encouranging it. Just pointing out logical weaknesses in some arguments,

It's medieval only!

Did the middle ages have lasers and the various dungeon technology for one thing? Or bombs? Or giant monsters and such, or GBA consoles (Tingle Tuner) or cameras? No. It's PSEUDO-Medieval, not medieval.

No giant monsters in the future!

And there weren't really many giant monsters in the past either. Heck, not even many creatures from dinosaur times were as giant and destructive as many Legend of Zelda monsters, especially bosses.

No old buildings! Only futuristic!

You can still look at castles, palaces, mansions and such nowadays, right? You can still see underground caves and labyrinths, correct? You can still explore much of what is in the past, and I don't think Hyrule would be different.

Only typical buildings

Actually, they could add many other types of dungeons. Trains, aeroplanes, ships and underground bases for one. You would have a wider range than the past games to an extent actually.

No traditional monsters!

I personally know how they could use Ganondorf, Vaati and Onox in a futuristic game, just update their job position for once or something to be a bit more modern.

No horse riding

We still have horse riding. There would be more ways to travel, not less.

No magic

It's a game. Games, regardless of time period can have magical spells and potions.

Comments please.

Oh my god please don't bring up Futuristic Zelda again. Ever since WiiTv made an April Fools Joke about a futuristic zelda, I've hated the idea.

And I agree with all you've said.

Just causing a bit of a discussion topic. And remember one rule in life:

'Most people are crowd following, extremely gullible sheep'.

I bet if I said something false, everyone here would believe it.
