It's called Pokemon Adventure and it's in Beta right now. From what I've gathered so far, you can trade (buy) Pokemon. Battling is the same, except you don't go to a different screen, a box just pops up and you click an action. Once the battle is over you gain Experience for the Pokemon that battled and PokeBucks to use to "trade" Pokemon and buy items. There's also a chance that a defeated Pokemon will drop an item, such as a Pidgey Feather. You can also form teams with other trainers although I haven't discovered the purpose of it yet. For the story, your father is Ash Ketchum, and he's been taken hostage somewhere. It is your job to find him with the aid of your Pokemon you capture along the way. Pokemon evolve normally I'm guessing (haven't trained mine that much yet but I've seen a team that had 2nd stage evolutions for all the starters). The setting is in Kanto, although the towns and paths are made larger for the sake of having so many avatars running around on screen at the same time (there is no slow-down that I have encountered yet, even with 20+ people walking around).

Facebook is a social networking site for the college age crowd although many highschoolers are starting to use it. Think of it as a more mature myspace with better features.

Facebook's headquarters is a five-minute drive from where I live. But I don't have one.

This isn't a social networking site for friends IRL. We already saw some users try to use it that way.

It wasn't good. It's pretty hard do that on this type of site, mostly because members usually don't know members personally.

Unfortunately they're quite successful.
