After the first version was made and is probably going to be the world 3 boss level, I've completely remade it with the specialised graphics nicked from Super Mario World Central and some Wario Land enemies where appropriate. Here is a picture:

As you can tell, it's most probably a vertical level. It's nearly completely made of ice in many places, and one huge area is nearly completely underwater as well. There are LOTs of enemies (as world 3's boss level probably should have anyway), but it probably could do with some more Kaizoness.

A quick note on the Wario enemies and what there are.

1. The crabs are pretty much like spinies.

2. The hedgehogs are also like spinies, except they turn nearly huge with 9 inch spikes from their back, similar to those hedgehogs in Yoshi's Island (I bet both games took enemy designs from each other).

3. Those snow creature things that look like this:

Spit out ice projectiles along the ground. The version I hope to use in this level will literally turn Mario into an ice block if the projectile hits, which gives nearby enemies a good chance to hurt Mario badly or kill him.

There are 3 of the above in the level or so.

4. Pirate Gooms are like Goombas. They basically hurt the character with the spear by walking into them.

Is that the whole level? It actually seems to be quite a bit shorter compared to your other levels, heh. But, nonetheless, the difficulty is still there. The toughest area is without a doubt the water area; that area can probably be more or less left the same. The section before it that leads down could probably be extended, with a good deal of extra objects, enemies, and what not.

Difficulty tweaks aside, I like the whole theme of it being an icy castle, complete with custom enemies to boot. If Mario can survive hypothermia, then this looks like it could be a lot of fun. Will the rest of the world have a sort of cold theme to it, do you know? Regardless, congrats on another successful level design.

So what's new? Well the only new thing is that there is a new Boss! See this:

Yep, it's a Lakitu boss! You hit it three or more times with blocks or items to kill it, and when all enemies are gone, the level ends! But a quick explanation of the boss battle and it's coolness:

1. It's in an icy room which is really slippery.
2. There's a lava pool you can fall and die in, or the enemies can/be thrown in.
3. There's a Bucket Head creature which spits ice which freezes Mario instantly, and lets other enemies attack.
4. There's a porcupuffer in the lava.
5. The Lakitu throws a barrage of deadly spiny eggs for more enemies.

I'm hoping that makes a tough enough boss for world 3.

Is that the whole level?

Yep. I did NOT take an entire world and make it a level this time around, that's why it's partly short. This is not EVERYTHING in Sherbet Land, Sherbet Land was a world in the Wario series and this was just the final level. My Syrup Castle remake on the other hand was literally the entire world merged into one. However, part of the reason for it's short length is quite simply because it was:

1. A completely optional bonus world.
2. The boss level was pretty much ignored, and wasn't even marked as a boss level. The real gameplay of the original world was actually because it was basically the Wario version of the Forest of Illusion in terms of every level having two exits.

It actually seems to be quite a bit shorter compared to your other levels, heh. But, nonetheless, the difficulty is still there. The toughest area is without a doubt the water area; that area can probably be more or less left the same.

You should see what I was going to have as the water area. Oh boy, last time I had added like TWO HUNDRED enemies to it for Kaizo difficulty, and probably made it nearly impossible.

The section before it that leads down could probably be extended, with a good deal of extra objects, enemies, and what not.

True, it probably could do with some actual length. You mean like a longer opening tide based water section and a deeper cavern before the water area?

Difficulty tweaks aside, I like the whole theme of it being an icy castle, complete with custom enemies to boot.

It's technically not actually a castle:

For all extents and purposes, it's basically an iceberg in the ocean, and the level here is a sub sea level ice cavern. I think this level is the bottom left dot on that map.

And yes, I thought I should add the classic enemies Wario faced when he went here for Mario to fight as well as Bowser's army.

If Mario can survive hypothermia, then this looks like it could be a lot of fun. Will the rest of the world have a sort of cold theme to it, do you know? Regardless, congrats on another successful level design.

Probably not everything in the world will have a cold theme, but I honestly don't know, it depends what Kyle wants world 3 to be like.
