It's amazing one of the best games on the DS and it has a lot of replay value with dozens of endings for the story mode and great online play. Just make sure that you like stylus driven games.

I play the game for the online since I finished story mode. The game is in all-range mode only and no rail. That's one reason why someone people didn't like it. The main game is now more like a strategy game rather then your classic Starfox 64. One thing that sucks about the online is that you need four people to play. If one person disconnects, the match is over. The game counts how many times you disconnect. The story mode can be repeatitive because you will do the same thing over and over.

If you want it for the story, then no. The single player mode gets boring. The online is basically the reason it has replay value.
