View Full Version : Has anyone else thought of starting a comic?

While Nintendan must by now be a master at comic creating, has anyone else considered writing a comic? Because many people wanted this board yet only two people (and Generic) have really ever used it. I mean, you people could create some excellent comics if you tried (but I have too much work to make one).

How honestly difficult is taking sprites from sites like the spriters resource (or creating your own one pixel at a time), making the background transparent and placing them on either a custom or sprite background?
The hard part is probably making the jokes funny.

I can write a tutorial if you want.
NintenDan

You don't need to do that in comics. I didn't.

I read a lot of tutorials about this though. And I think a story writing/humour tutorial would be better. And, if you cannot draw by hand, don't draw by hand. If you can, do so.

If you don't write one, I could! Or, even better, maybe we could both write one, except I use one of my comics for an example of how mine came together, and you explore all the pros and cons, like that topic you jsut started recently!

If you cannot make sprites, take them from the Spriter's Resource and credit the authors of the spriters.
