Okay, first things first, the Pit of 100 Trials thing is no more. That has been replaced when the entire battle changed, and now here is the current battle sequence:

First of all, the mini boss is that airship/doomship that was originally the actual boss (the mini boss and boss thing is based on Brutal Mario, where you had one mini boss and one major boss per castle or fortress). All those red cannons fire HOMING Bullet Bills, and you have to defeat two Mousers, one Laser Bro (fires lasers instead of hammers), one Bullet Bro (fires Bullet Bills supposedly and has the equivalent of a rocket launcher) and two Chargin' Chucks (standard variety). After this, a door appears and the main boss is fought...

Which is Captain Syrup, based on the battle from Wario Land 2. Thankfully, it does not require ASM, as it's based off the attack pattern of the Lakitu boss from Super Mario World Central, and instead of spinies throws Pirate Gooms you throw back to hurt the boss with. There are metal poles that smash down, and random Bullet Bills fired from generators.

^That's the battle it's based on, and why the door exists at the top, because I kept the arena true to form, and in the original game it came from, your character could not get hurt in any form, and would just be sent flying by attacks and have to use the door to reenter/reset the boss battle.

P.S. You'll also notice something kinda funny... how every time that castle has ever appeared, it literally exploded like a nuclear reactor after the final battle. Heh, I guess the castles for Bowser, King K Rool and Captain Syrup have some kind of severe engineering fault, because nearly every time their plans backfire, the castle/base (or in King K Rool's case, the ENTIRE COUNTRY) explodes!

I think the miniboss will be harder than Syrup. But it looks good. And who doesn't love homing bullet bills?

This will be, without a doubt, one of the longest and hardest levels in the hack. Not only will we have two bosses, but a level before it that could be split up into three seperate stages easily. Personally, I don't see how the player will be able to defeat a Mouser with bullet bills, lasers, and football players running around. It will be most entertaining to watch (not to mention play.)

Probably will. But there have been some improvements I'm adding:

Now, Captain Syrup throws bombs, edited versions of bob-ombs or whatever Mouser throws instead of normal enemies.

And I like homing bullet bills. Not sure about Azura or the like. But heh.

At the moment, more like THE longest level in the hack. Not the most difficult though, but with it being the equivalent of an entire world in length, do people really want it to be any more difficult? As for defeating the Mousers and Bullet Bill + Laser Bros and Chargin' Chucks, I could manage... without the homing Bullet Bills. With them? No chance.

I do really want to know the reaction of Azura and such to this, he seems to find even lengths about a tenth of the length of this one really long and annoying, goodness knows what he'd think of this...

P.S. If you didn't realise already, Syrup Castle has been a world in two games, and both times had an ENTIRE level just to GET TO the door:

Note the level name:

Get to the castle!!

And Wario's reaction when he saw just how difficult it was going to be to win (the freaking castle is about the ENTIRE height of the mountain it's on, and probably could hold a decent sized town within it!!) Also note the level numbering:

Final Chapter- Syrup Castle

STORY 1

In both games it appeared in, there were at least four levels set in this location alone, I've basically merged the lot into one level.
