The DS Lite Topic

Since I myself have a DS Lite, a nice black coloured one bought in the UK, this topic is about discussing the device. Personally, I think the DS Lite is an amazing device with plenty of potential, and makes games such as Mario kart DS and Metroid Prime Hunters much easier to play and more fun.

I also like how much brighter the screens are than the fat old normal DS. What is your opinion? Do you like the DS Lite and how easy it is to use it?

Do not have it, but my friend does, and It does look brighter in the daylight, but mine is original, and looks dark...

The normal one. The a silver one to be precise!

I am on my third 'phat DS' at the moment (don't ask) and I can honestly say I don't want to upgrade.

I've played Lites quite a few times and yes, they are far brighter, but I can't help noticing the sound is partially muted and changed with most games.

As I am an avid Electroplankton player, and someone who intends to buy that DS guitar-simulator if it gets a European release; I'll need my phat DS to properly hear those games.

Yeah, that may be one advantage of the normal DS. I do however find DS Lites much better for playing GBA games, mainly because in games such as Mario Kart Super Circuit, you can see the screen in levels such as Ghost Valley 3.

Yeah, it's the only advantage.

I don't know, I find the DS bright enough until I play a Lite and for a while afterwards I find the DS to inhumanely dark. After a while though it seems alright.

I find both brighter than the GBA. Look how dark it is!

No one here at the moment selling one. You could always trade in your old one, and hope they don't realise it's broken.

got a lite lol anyway the ds lite has worser sound and i guess it is a bit liter but to tell ya the truth it wont brake as easy see the original had a desgin flaw were the hinge veventually snaps off (like mine almost snappped off but it still worked)anyway how didi you get a lite cheat? theres no way eb games would do that...i get my games at a pawn shop or wal mart theres just to expensive.
