Do you think this would make a good game? Have a MMO based in the Zelda universe. use zelda items and equiment ideas and link together many zelda worlds. they could make each race playable. this game has many possabilitys.
any ideas what could go into this game?

I think it is a great idea, but I do not play MMORPG games anyway.

depending on if its free or not would depend if I played or not

I guess that's logical, as paying for an online game is a rip off, even worse if you have to also buy the game from a shop.

true but even if it did cost money if it didn't cost a real lot I would prolly play it alittle anyway because its a zelda game

I would not. I generally don't pay for things online (except the site hosting and this forum license).

There is a free version, but that is way limited.

ah not way limited I think it was good enough I can never get real into an MMO i get tried of it after a little bit.. then maybe play some months later..

Runescape for free is way limited. You get like a quarter of the world areas the members get access to, many skills barred off altogether, cannot get the most powerful items and armour, cannot post on their forums, cannot have your own house, cannot access some servers and cannot get into some dungeons.

true but I meant its not so limited I thought it would be worth paying for because once ur membership runs out all the member stuff u have is useless

Yeah, pretty much.

and since I only every played it for like two or three months then got bored with it it wouldn't be worth it

but if they ever did make a game like this then I would want it to be like Guild wars (only higher level cap)

I have no idea what Guild Wars is personally.

ifs an MMORPG that you only have to pay for the game theres no online fee (and I as far as I know everything in the game is free no member and non-member like runescape) only it has a level cap of like 30

Oh, okay. The level cap seems a bit of a dumb idea though.

yes but it was so u there were no lvl 88 fan boy killing all the casual players. the games made so people can play it a little here an there and still progress quickly

I like levelling up though, and so does my cousin (9 more levels before he reaches level 99 woodcutting in Runescape!)

Yeah, but is 99/100 the norm for the max level in most RPGs?

belive so.. but Runscape has a level cap of 126 i belive.. it maybe higher Idk.. and I think there are games with level caps of 255.. and theres a game on the NES that has no level cap (you can raise levels forever)

If a game is one player only, there is really no point for a level cap. Although there will be one because of technical limitations.

no theres no cap at all your stats all keep raising (I bleive they apper to stop but they don't or they turn in to hexdecimal i forget.) but the game is Ultima I belive.. I am not sure what one thou theres a bunch of them.

True, I prefer offline games. Back to this idea though, whether or not it works well in practice could be debatable, as it kind of kills the dungeon idea of one adventurer having like 200 Links fighting enemies and solving puzzles (could make for some interesting new dungeons and boss fights though).
