Go to google and search UnFREEz. No, I didn't use the caps wrong. Type it in exactly like that. Choose the first result then scroll down and click on Download UnFREEz. I hope you know what to do from there. Here's how you use it: 1. Get a sprite sheet 2. Lets say there's a punching Mario. Save each of his movements as their own GIF. 3. Click and drag them into the UnFREEz thing and save it.

As for you Poof, I'll get right on it:D.

I see what you mean his pic was to big so it didn't keep the animation when used as an avatar because it has to be resized and that turns it in to a jpg.

Yes, I understand that. Whenever I try to resize the avatar it says:"No images were uploaded", and nothing happens.

I've already stated that avatars are not sprites, (specifically the way you are doing them, anyways) and the fact that these are very distracting and annoying in nature makes this topic even worse. >.>
