In me redrawing/getting some sprites from this super hard Mario fan game:

I dunno, I was bored, and need something to make some sprites of, and since the sprites in that game, at least edited versions are used for the VIP series and the like, I thought it might be a fun diversion.

An easy way to get the sprites:
1) Download the game.
2) Open the folder.
3) Open the folder in it titled "res".
4) Use desired sprites.

^Good point. I needed the sprites partly for coolness sakes, and partly because one level I'm making for something else is a parody of platform hell/masocore games.

I just checked, and that's a good point, I can download and play it myself to get some of these a bit earlier, the original article had a link to the official site for it. I'll get some other platform hell game sprites though.

Okay, I've made a start on the sprites from this game, and this is pretty much purely by looking at videos so far:

Very simple so far, but most graphics in the game are already of a simple style. There's still quite a few things to fix, like faces and shading, and I've got to get sprites from the other three levels as well...
