Why do you think it's a problem and what do you think is the best solution? I'll post my opinion later in the day after I've had some sleep.

1) Too many Mexicans.
2) Cheap labour.

I knew some people that were illegal aliens, but they were keeping to try and become citizens, and learn English, and everything else. Those people are great. But what really ticks me off, is when people just come on over illegally, and never learn English, and expect you to cater to all their needs. Ugh. I just wish border patrol was a lot stronger, so they would force people who come over to come over legally.

Right now, illegal immagration is not such a huge issue. We have other things to deal with. But the important thing is that they are stealing jobs from Americans that actually deserve them. Illegal immigration is also a problem because some immagrants will also smuggle contraband, and we don't need any more of that around here...

Most illegal immigrants that come here are not only a source of cheap labor. They are also trying to escape Mexico because of the way the government is run, albeit pretty badly because the Mexican government is using the military to combat drug lords and other criminals to try and make the country safer. But ask yourselves this: would you be willing to live in a place where you would only be caught in the crossfire? If you were in that situation, I hope you would be smart and escape what would be a short death and come to a place where you could at least have SOME protection.
And as for the job stealing, if they would at least first become US citizens then maybe there wouldn't be as much hate. Or maybe there would be if people still see them as job stealers.

Yes, Lance the Echidna, that is true, however, that is still no reason that they can't come over legally.

Many come over illegally because the government won't grant them citizenship, and the government doesn't even have to give a reason for denying citizenship. I have a friend who's parents have been trying to get their citizenship for over 20 years. They work 2 jobs a piece to support their family here, and also their family members still in Mexico.

Also, they aren't stealing American jobs. They are taking the jobs we aren't willing to work. Most of them work for less than minimum wage because they aren't protected by the government. If they report it, they get deported.

I think Benoit explained it quite clearly there. (All of this was an EDIT)

Illegal Immigration always has been a negative aspect of lifestyle. Foreign people with unknown diseases who bring their contagious natures over here risk other people at getting those diseases. This is why every immigrant should go through medical inspection and the border patrols should be raised.

Also, contraband smuggling is always a bad thing.
