Something is really bugging me lately. Everytime I watch a show, there is either a warning saying "THIS PROGRAM IS RATED PG" or I hear *beep* everytime I turn around. I'm not saying that people should get to say certain words on television, such as *beep* or *longer beep* An opinions on it?

It especially gets annoying where YOU CAN HEAR HALF THE WORD! I keep hearing things like "fu**..." or "**it". Why do that? It's half the word people. They already know what you're saying. <_<

Yes, the TV world seems to think that sex, violence, and bad words are all the rage these days. Which partly might be true. I think in R movies they should not censor bad words cause you know, It's all 18 and up.

My opinion on censoring... Let's see. What I think is that they should only curse in pg-13 movies and up. Because honestly, alot of children watch lot's of movies that are pg, and even sometimes repeat what they hear. >.>

Now that I think about it, what IS the exact point of censorship? I mean, they are just cursing words, but why do we have to censor them out? People nowadays know what they pretty much say, and we as humans tend to use these words in vein probably. Maybe it has something to do religiously. I'm not really an expert when it comes to this matter. I want to hear more opinions.

Yup. But the thing is this. We're gonna learn those words anyways. I learned f*** when I was 3, and I learned all the others when I was like 6. It's no big deal to me. But it's them damn psuedo-Christian Alabama soccer moms who try to piss off the FCC by complianing about even the word "crap". But anyway, I get pretty irritated from all the profanities in the world today. I actually try to keep myself clean *coughsanecough*, and as I try to do that, every kid in the universe is out there using "f---ing" before every verb and noun, and spurting out sex jokes left and right. And since when is sh-t a pronoun?

My friend and I gasped when they didn't censor f--- on late night Comedy Central. It was epic, man.

In a recent Game Informer screenshot of a upcoming Guitar Hero, they showed a picture of the lyrics of one song.

"Guarrenteed to [blow] your mind"

in which they censored blow. The caption was "Seriously? Are you really going to censor 'blow' in 'blow your mind', Activision?"
