Personally, I prefer fiction. One of my favorites is "Never Mind" by Avi. I like reading fiction because the possibilities are endless, and you can connect to the story. So, what's your favorite genre?

Fantasy because 'you never know what will happen'.

Non fiction books to be honest literature wise, for TV it's probably action series and comedy series, and for video games, it's definitely Mario style platform games.

I prefer all types of books, but fiction is my favorite genre... It's simply an easier place to escape reality for me personally... >.>

Pretty much the same here Mariowings, as escaping the schoolwide dichotomy is something that I need to excersise.

Books: Fiction. I love reading stories that provide insight past realistic boundaries.

TV: Anime. This is the one genre of television and movies that I love the most, I consider it superior to anything that's non-anime. The drawing style, the actions of the characters, and all sorts of drama/fiction put in make anime the best digital media genre in my opinion.

Video games: I'm not entirely sure on this, but because I'm into more Real Time Strategy (RTS for short) games then other genres, I'll have to go with RTS. All the Command & Conquer games and Dune games are epic in their own rights, with Universe at War and Supreme Commander being excellent games as well. I do like other games such as the Mario and Star Fox series, but the more open ended methods of gaming involved in RTS pushes me in this direction.

Normal fiction is defined as just fiction. Nonetheless, yes it counts.
