I feel he is decent, but not great. His stimulus package was a good idea, but I'm against his views on gun control. He wants to do away with guns for self-defense altogether and hunting for most part.

Self-defense in the home is something I'm for; what if a thief threatens a fragile senior citizen in a house at night? If he/she is armed, self-defense measures kick in and the thief gets his just deserts. If the senior citizen is not, then the thief is free to do anything he wants. This rule applies to all people at their homes who are not experienced at combat of self-defense.

Also, people who hunt do so most often with resourceful intelligence. Nobody in the right mindset (and they most likely are in the right mindset if they have a hunting firearm) would kill off more wildlife than needed. Anyone who hunts responsibly will not hunt to the point of waste. That's what Obama is against (I'm also against wasting natural wildlife), and that's he's doing this. He wants to raise the costs of hunting rifles and guns, and also increase the taxes associated with these prices. I'm against his latter motives here, I'm sure the costs will be raised too high.
