CRAZIEST Mario Kart CHEATERS!!

Hi, everyone,

I've been looking for a site like this to chat about Mario Kart DS because I am addicted to it, I can't stop. I've seen a lot of Mario Kart DS cheaters since I've been playing non-stop for 2 years now. I really do hate cheaters, they can't win so the next best thing is.... to cheat! I refuse to play anymore games with the cheaters. Not bragging but I do have over 6000+ wins and 2000 loses.

I just wanted to know what are the craziest things you witnessed while playing Mario Kart Ds on the WiFi. Here are some of mine:

1) One guy was way in the back during the whole race, and everyone was passing him over-n-over, he was off to the side going back-n-forth and I was in 1st place and when I ran across the finish line, it gave him 1st place. I was so pissed I logged off, because I didn't want to see it happen again.

2) The infamous falling off cliffs over-n-over and re-appearing right in front again.

3) I played a guy about 4 rounds so that's 16 race tracks, and everytime he got to pick the track he wanted, I never picked the same as he did. I thought that was kinda weird, but I didn't care because he only won 3 of the races.

4) Now I do think It's cool to play the boards (like Peach Gardens, Shroom Ridge, Mushroom Bridge,Waluigi Pinball..etc) that we couldn't before on the WiFi. I wish Nintendo would re-release Mario Kart with these and other new tracks for the DS. That would be fun and worth it.

5) And I hate those that can glide right over the toughest terrain without slowing down. And of course the dreaded "SNAKERS"

I don't want to cheat but are there patches floating around on the internet that people use to do this? or is it Gameshark codes.

I know someone that was trying to dodge a blue shell by teleporting up and down. He disappear and appear fast at different at left, right, and then he was floating. The blue shell still hit him and he disconnect. It was at Choco Mountain.

Welcome to the community, and I hope you enjoy it here, as there are no arguments and regardless of if you 'snake' or 'non-snake' you can use BB code to tell people you only want those with the same play style to race you.

The first instance looks very much like.. good point. Possibly some form of hacking, as lag would not do that, and last to first in a few seconds is extremely unrealistic. Money is on parallel hacking. You should not have quit, but that guy sounds like a jerk.

The second one is lag. What it means? They have a crap internet connection (sorry for the words) such as a 56K dial up connection, which in all logical sense should not be used for Wifi play. Sadly, there is nothing anyone can do other than tell them to get broadband.

The third one I do not know about. Coincidence or hacking.

The fourth one I agree with, as all courses should be on wifi. I love Airship Fortress for example and if I was to go online, guess what? I could not play it because the AR has not been released here and I don't know how to hack with a pass me/flash cart.

PRB. As for SSMT, I am personally for it, but I will not change your opinion and I think all people should simply be allowed to race who they want. We don't want any 'snaking' arguments in this perfect forum, right?

Yes, there is a decent amount of hacking equipment being used, instructions are online. And the Action Replay DS has been released with online codes for things like infinite weapons. Plus there are glitches like the coolest shortcuts (I love finding them) and that damn loss deletion glitch which should be patched.

Some of these players are NOT cheaters as you should look at the mario kart forum. You will find crazy wifi racers that will happily race you. Others like the one you mentioned going back and fourth are probably using action replay.

Yeah, and remember, people here will race you without AR or quitting, unless you actually request it. You request a race, you specify the terms with BB code and a few people will race you on those terms.

The craziest thing I've ever seen on Wi-Fi was someone going really fast and jumpin' really high?!

I think they were probably using action replay and the code which allows three hundred cc!

I used to play MK:DS online, but then cause my comp busted, I had to switch to Windows 2000 (which can't use my Wifi adapter :(). I'd love to play on Wifi again, although nowadays, I don't play a single game with my new AR in it. I mean, I creamed a staff ghost on Rainbow Road using a cheat that makes it so every time you press X you've got a bullet bill.

And over 8000 plays on WFC?! Shoot man! You are addicted!!!
