Nintendo Wifi

Although the Nintendo Wifi service seems to have been a success so far, the question here is, do you like the service? Do you think Nintendo has taken the right attitude to online gaming, and that the service is acceptable already, do you think you could improve it or do you think that the service is awful and they should use an approach like the Xbox or Playstation game online services?

I love playing wifi but the only thing I don`t like is that you need a signal to do it. Right now I can`t play wifi because of that.

I agree with Luis. That's the same reason I cannot get on to the service yet. No router or the like!

I cannot go online simply because I did not have a router when I played Mario Kart DS much, and Metroid Prime Hunters I am not too brilliant at. And because I don't really understand how to configure the router settings.

I haven`t played wifi in a long time. They should have made a powerful signal that can go to every DS. (Or the PSP for faster loading on internet)

The first time I played wifi was at July in 2006. When I first got Mario Kart DS, I was trying to go online with it and I was wondering why is not working. I didn`t know it needs an access point until I found out in July.

Not sure what to say about this, other than asking if you read the manuals. Or tried the wifi settings options.

They will have to change the way of connecting to wifi. There still people out there that is eager to go online.

Yeah. Not sure how though, but when internet access is free, all the problems will be over, and way easier online gaming for all. Personally I think they should also scrap friend codes.

Not everyone has a computer. Why the broadband requires a computer? Why all the wifi have to come from a broadband and a computer.

If wifi is worldwide, everyone should be able to use it anyway. If it is not so easily accessable, it would be fairer for those only with Broadband to use it, as 56K causes terrible lag.

You have a broadband? I never had one. I think someone in my building had one because I was wondering why my wifi was working perfectly last summer.

Of course I have a Broadband connection. Would not be feasible to work on this site or go on here for long without one.

It depends, some days are faster than others... It depends how many other people are on, I think...
