Fire Flower in Super Mario Galaxy?

According to someone on Nsider, Nintendo Power says this is returning! Can anyone who gets that magazine confirm this please, because if it's true that is awesome.

I dont have the magazine but YEAH that would be awesome. but i wonder how they would do that in 3-D. i mean it would be hard to hit the enemy if the fire-ball went strait but if it was a wave it would be better
