No Mario game at launch?

Am I the only person slightly annoyed that there was not a Mario game released at the Wii's launch date? I know, Twilight Princess was released, but that was not even a Wii specific game! NES had Super Mario Bros, SNES and Super Mario World and the Nintendo 64 had Super Mario 64, so what about the Wii?

I didn't really care about no Mario games at launch.........well, actually, i did but not annoyed at it, i knew they had to make it more perfect and all


and damn the world for having Super Paper Mario come out at 14 September where i live >:(
