9 Red Coins = Game Croaking...

I have just tested the effect of trying to get 9 red coins. And it was not pretty. First, the game made an enormously loud 'CRAACK!' sound and locked up, then a constant buzz occured afterwords. Sounded like the DS needed repair, or had been ripped in two more than anything.

Was scary though.

Use the seven red coins code, get a coin, make star appear, use code again, get coin, make second star appear. Try it.

I figured out the glitch when I made the trees outside the castle red coins so there are more than 8 trees and it did that. Scary...

I did that once with my AR. I thought my DS got broken.

Wait, I remember it freezing mine. I used press L+r select for lots of red coins and then collected a red coin. The game froze. I remember freezing my game a couple of times in my V1 of my Custom BoB because I'd replaced coins with red coins.
