I'm pretty sure nobody has tried this, so, I am officially the owner of the longest Time Trial!! With Pictures for proof, non-edited, of course!

Nice one, and even if someone did it first, it's still a record as that's the longest time it CAN be!

True! And, I forgot to add this, but it says you're unable to save a ghost after 10:30:00!

Oh, okay. By the way, I think ghosts probably get screwed up if you use the Action Replay codes, as in Super Circuit, I used a code and the ghost get ramming a wall.

^If you use any AR code to give you items your not supposed to have it TT, it will screw up your Ghost.
I've discovered...
Do not constantly use the infinte mushroom code longer than 27 seconds because when you finish your run, the game will freeze.
If you use too many shroom on a kart when it is only supposed to have a certain amount otherwise, when you try and race you ghost, it will smash into a wall and drive all over the place.

I know. It goes worse when you use a cheat to freeze time.

I got a 99'59"999 on Banshee Boardwalk (intentionally) just after February 14th, which is my Best Record (since that's the only record I've got, um... because I erased my Time Trial Records, intentionally)

Yeah, so you're the best in the world for longest time on Banshee Boardwalk.

Whether that's as good as having the worlds fastest time I don't know, but that's the one record they don't have at the Mario Kart DS Players Page, the longest times for each course!

I don`t really call it a world record because you don`t have to do anything to uptain this longest time and anybody can do that.

Nor would I call the highest score records on Super Mario 64 DS in levels with infinite coin glitches, but Cyberscore records those as world records.
Luis
22nd February 2007, 06:35 PM
Infinite coins? In what stage you can do that?

Cool Cool Mountain, Snowman's Land, Tiny Huge Island, Rainbow Ride.

I guess that not everyone knows the glitches, but they are:
Tiny Huge Island and Rainbow Ride: When the enemy Lakitu drops spinies, eat them to make eggs and throw them at something away from the Lakitu. Rinse and repeat.
Snowmans Land: You can keep hitting these goombas with caps using eggs for coins, then go into the igloo and repeat.
Cool Cool Mountain: Same goomba trick, and you can also break some boxes for coins, go down the slide and break them again when they reappear for more.
You can also get infinite coins against the bosses who lock away Mario, Luigi and Wario.

Yeah, I've done the snow one, not the others. But cheat, here is a code of what I hope will make my cursor work!
<style>
<!--
BODY{
cursor:url("mycursor.cur");
}
-->
</style>
Where "mycursor.cur" is, that's where you put the filename for my cursor. You'll have to save it seperatly though. That's to replace the "arrow". Haven't found an animated one yet...
NintenDan

You will need this to save it as a ".cur" file:
http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-2001&qt=icon%20creator&tag=srch (http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-2001&qt=icon%20creator&tag=srch)
Follow this hyperlink: There are a bunch of programs that are free to try, so you can get the free version, and put it on the site! Stay still on a name of a download, and the details will come up. I suggest "IconStudio 5" and "Icon constructer 2.3" as they are around the smallest in size.

Did you know that Paintshop Pro can save as .ani files? For animated cursors? Oh, and thanks for the CSS code.

No problem. It didn't take long to get. Just went to google, and did some stuff, I'm not entirely proud of... Nah, but best wishes for when you try the code!
