is the answer a candle? the candle is white and the "hat" is the fire on top and if you leave it standing there it grows shorter >_> am i right? <_<

I'm pretty sure it is...... And it was slightly misleading if it was, nickyivyca. Most flames that small are orange, yellow, or whitish. That's probably why nobody got it.
