News about this game seems to have been very quiet...

Yeah, kind of suspicious for a Q1,2008 game. That's a max of 6 months to finish, unless they delay it.

I think the Brawl and Galaxy hype killed any for this game.

Once Galaxy is out, everyone will be caring more about SSBB [after they finish Galaxy], and then people will start to look more at Mario Kart Wii.

Watching the bike video I noticed that there are 12 people racing! That's exciting! Also wheelies can be performed on the bikes; and the jumps and ramps look sweet, I wonder how they could help you out during a race?

There are bikes?! Well, let's put some pieces together. I've seen Mario and Wario, so they'll obviously be in there, so why not post what you've seen in the videos, and add on to it as time progresses.
