Yoshi`s Story

This was my first game for Nintendo 64. The black and white Yoshi`s are the best ones. You need to find them first.

Was this game really easy though compared to Yoshi's Island 1 and 2.

[Luis]

This game is not really long. It`s more like a high score game. You can pick which stage you want to go and you have to eat 30 fruits to pass the stage because there is no end. The first world is that grass plain, second is the cave, third is the sky, fourth is the jungle, fifth is water and last is the castle. You pick one stagad in the grass world and after that, you go to the cave. The one on the SNES/GBA and DS are the real adventure ones.

It have of thosn enemies like the Raven and the annoying Cheep Cheep. The fish that shoots water is bigger. The big lava enemy that comes up looks really weird.

The lava versions of them were supposedly the lava dragons in Super Mario World...

[Luis]

Yeah him, he`s face is different in Yoshi`s Story, he looks messed up.

oh I remmber this game. I played for awhile annd I beat it but I don't remmber much from it..

It`s like a weird Yoshi`s Island and some of the stages are cardboard.

I rented it. I thought it was good, and didn't the black yoshi have a better egg throw, that exploded bigger?

Yes and the white Yoshi too.

I guess exploding eggs were brought back in the DS Yoshi's Island (Baby DK) then?

[Luis]

They can score more points than the normal Yoshi`s.

Oh, that sounds cool I guess. Were the boss battles easy in this game?

[Luis]

Their really easy in this game. You can finish the game in a few hours.

I could finish Yoshi's Island DS in a few hours as well. And the original.

[Luis]

This one is way more shorter than Yoshi`s Island.

So how long do you predict it would take me to beat this game?

[Luis]

You only have to pass five stages to reach the castle. To get every stage, it might take 2 hours.

Oh, that sounds easier than I thought...

[Luis]

You have to find the hearts to unlock the other stages.

Oh, okay then.

[Luis]

I like when you go to another area, it will turn the page.

Oh, okay. Like in a story book?

[Luis]

The whole island was turned into a story book.

Did Bowser not steal some kind of tree to turn it that way?

[Luis]

Yeah he took the tree for nothing. He didn`t like the fruits.

Kind of ironic that really, taking something not even liked.

[Luis]

It`s weird that Wiggler is in this game but he`s green.

[cheat-master30]

Like Swiggler in Mario and Luigi Partners in Time I guess:

Swig} (when ill it's green).

[Luis]

The one in Yoshi`s Story is already green. When you step on him, he turns purple.

Kind of weird that, both are Shroob colours for what seems like the Wiggler in Yoshi's Story. Of course, I am likely thinking about this too much.

Wiggler is not really a Yoshi`s Island enemy. Why Nintendo added him? Oh well, Bandit is not in this game though.

when u jumped onwiggler and he truned purple didn't he go crazy? and get a mad face.. or was that a diffrent monster?

[Luis]

No, he still walks around when he`s purple. I guess is one unrelated Wiggler.

Yeah, Wiggler is a more generic Mario game enemy. What would you consider a Yoshi's Island enemy though, as many of them are Mario enemies in normal games.

[Luis]

Shy Guy`s are like Goomba`s. The plants, Tap Tap, Bandit, those white birds, Chomp, Boo, forgot that lava enemy name, Raven, Cheep Cheep, Lakitu and I have to go check to remember the rest.

Crazy Daisys (that flower thing that also appears in Paper Mario)
Chomp enemies (but also Mario enemies)
Bandit
Balloons that drop dangerous things
Nep-E Nut
Blargg
Ravens
Monkeys
Evil fake flowers

Those kinds of things.

haha seems you know all there names.. I only know the names of some LoZ eneimes... I know almost no Mario game eneimes..

The Nep-E Nut never appeared in any Super Mario Bros so he`s a Yosh`s Island enemy but he`s still a Mario character.

Okay. But the lava dragon in Mario World was a Blargg, which was a Nep E Nut in Yoshi's Island.

[Luis]

You should see how he looks in Yoshi`s Story. Wrote looking Nep-E Nut ever.

What did it look like?

He`s eyes are white and he got two arms now. He will open his big mouth and all that lava on him. I tried to find a picture of him in google.

Looks pretty weird to me personally.

[Luis]

The flower is Yoshi`s heath. See how interesting that Nintendo switch things around. The flower turns sad when it`s dieing. That`s was so funny.

His real name is Bargg? I can`t tell which one is better. The one from Super Mario or Yoshi`s Island DS.

Nor can I. Prefer the giant one, the giant Tap Tap and the Nep-E Nuts though.

Tap Tap also looks weird in Yoshi`s Story.
