Right underneath Announcements. All news goes there that is Nintendo related in any way. How could this be bad; or not active, since news is always happening and is always going to keep happening. The reason why I have made this thread is mainly because I have, in my time here at DSU, posted many news related things in the Off-Topic Board. So... yay or nay?

It's a decent idea, but this forum needs more activity before any more areas are added. It seems to have dropped in activity a bit any way, and Nintendo are slow on any more new updates and news.

It just seems like a place to add ANY Nintendo related news such as a new game being reviewed on a website. Things like that. I think if we added this right now and then didn't add anything else until more activity; then it would make the forum an overall better place. (Right underneath announcements).

That's a problem though; we can't just write about the new stuff on every Nintendo site known to man.

I could. ;) Trust me, I'd post in the news section a lot. Anything could go there. From release dates, to fan made console redesigns, to new screens from a game. It would be nothing but a positive influence to the site in my opinion.

Let me rephrase that; we COULD, but we'd get a heck of a lot more posts than the whole forum combined from just that one board...

I don't know. Not many people would post there. Mostly just the active people. It would be a popular forum; but I don't think it would be overpopulated.
