I know that there will be something in this game, most likely the items, that makes some people be n00bs. Ugh, I really hate when people say that about other people because they used something or did something that was in the game. Sure, even I get mad when someone hits me with a blue shell when they are a half a lap behind me, and I am neck and neck on the final lap. But in this game, it's any man's game. But still, with any online game, there will be "n00bs."

Yeah, true. I always turn off the hammer, star, and home run bat.

The game Super Smash Bros. was made because of the Home Run Bat. What's it called again, when you hit someone really hard with it? A Home Run Smash, or something like that?

I play with no items.

I play with no items.

Why? Items are so much fun.

Well, If you like playing without items better, than I'm not stopping you.

I play fist to fist fights. I turn off the items to learn how to fight for real instead of relying on items.

Do you ever use items though? I would find no items to be really boring.

I use to use it all time but not anymore. You can still put items when you fight me.

Ok, good. Does your neighbors WiFi reach your Wii?

Luis

I don't have a Wii yet. I want my own wifi already. I'm saving up for it.

That's a good idea. I was thinking about making a WiFi Guide to which ones each different person would want to get. I can help you out quick.

1. What things are you going to use the WiFi for?
2. Will the wireless connection be on the same floor as the WiFi devices, below, or both?
3. What is the maximum distance that you will use the wireless connection?

A guide will help because I never setup a wifi before.

1. Does it needs the computer's internet for that?

2. Can it be in the same room?

3.The stronger it reachs the better the gameplay.

Ok. No, it needs the modem to be connected to the wireless router, thus the wireless router will relay the wireless signal. Yes, it can be in the same room. Yeah, the stronger it reaches, the better the online gameplay is true. Now, please answer the original questions again.

I have a modem so I will use that. Where do you put your wireless collection? I just want it to be able to go around the house.

The same floor or the middle of the floor underneath usually works the best. I have experience with a USB connector and a wireless router. If you answer my 3 questions, then it will help me out and thus, it will help you out a lot also.

I could start using low distance and if it doesn't reach, i'll raise it. How do you raise the wireless collection?

You would have to rewire everything from your current router to your modem. I think it would work fine in the floor below. You just need a good one. This one would work (and is also mine, so I suggest it):

http://www.amazon.com/Linksys-WRT54GS-Wireless-G-Broadband-SpeedBooster/dp/B0001D3K8A (read/scan through the product description. it has a great diagram showing the difference between a wireless g router, and a wireless g router with speedbooster).

Linksys is a very trusted brand for any internet connections, routers, modems, etc.

70 dollars? Is that like an access point machine like Netgear? Doesn't the Nintendo Wii comes with a wifi internet?

Symerwizkid22

No. The Wii can connect to wireless internet. You still need a wireless internet connection (wireless router) to connect your wii, ds, laptop, psp, etc. online. If you are friends with your neighbor, then hell, why not ask them for some general assistance.

Sadly I don't know who's access point I been stealing all the time. I'll worry about getting a wireless router after I get a Wii. ;)

Yeah, good idea. All you really have to do is replace your router right now with a wireless one. It's really simple. If you ever need any help setting it up or adding a security encryption, then just ask your local Geek Squad.
