Why are they a little dull in this game? Most seem to be the same 'ho hum' Super Mario Bros 3 music! Of course, maybe expecting great music as music notes you collect was a bit ambitious...

Ho hum? My friend, that's one of the most memorable tunes in Mario history. Although the Notes ARE mostley that, the rest seem to be the SMB underwater and underground themes. Save for the one SMW theme in Deep Dark.

True, true. After the first few times, I thought that we'd be getting more variety, but a great game can only have so much.

This game does one thing well though; it really surprises you with what you can find if you look around carefully. Like the nice, hidden music notes in Freezeflame's Blistering Core...
