This is the star festival at the end of the game, correct?

Yeah, it's the Star Festival. The one which Bowser originally halted by an airship attack on and the one you revisit at the end of the game.

Are all the people there all the races and people that you have helped throughout the entire game?

Yep. Well, most of them. Some of the others are in the ending version.

Cool. That sounds like a good ending. One thing though, does Peach give Mario a kiss at the end and does Mario take off his hat? Or just the kiss?
