Also know as the main part of the Bubble Blast Trial Galaxy, this place has a few strange technicalities. For one thing, there is a flaw in the gravity. If Mario falls, he falls straight in a black hole, but the galaxy itself manages to float above the black hole when in truth the presence of such an obstacle below the maze indicates there is actually gravity and the whole maze should just plummet.
It would work in space in a real world environment if there was no gravity in potential theory, maybe in a void or something. But not that close to a black hole or any major source of gravity.
Note: Although maybe Nintendo are being very nice. Because in a more real situation without a magic black hole placed there, Mario would probably be pulled to the land area right at the start of the maze. And in the case of the second maze, through about three electric fences, past many cannons and repeatedly stuck on moving stuff. In other words, you'd die in a slower and more painful way...
