1 video code

I just thought of a great idea! Have one video code, in which you simply put the url around

URL of video

Then, wouldn't it be easy to add the ability for new videos from new websites? I think it's a brilliant idea.

The problem is that the code is not the same for each website, and there are security problems associated as generic embedding allows flash animations with dangerous effects to be inserted in posts.

Oh, I understand. I think it would be helpful if you made a quick guide under tech support showing what you have to put bewtween the brackets. I still don't know some of them. If you made a guide and stickied it, a lot of people would use it. ;)
