Why Stop The Updates for the New Year?

Seriously though, why? I don't stop updating this site because of a holiday or event happening at the same time, so why the hell should Nintendo do so? I mean, they already don't update week ends, and I think this is just an excuse not to give us a new character or stage update.

The Smash Bros forum doesn`t have to rely on the updates. We can still make stuff up like make a Diddy Kong Racing stage. Ever notice there no stage from this game yet?

Yes, a person thought just because Snake and Bomberman use Bombs and physical combat they'd be clones.

Then a guy posted usong your logic, Ike and Link would both be clones. He just kept making personal insults and denying that was his logic, when that was all he based it on.

I dunno if Japan is taking a break for the new years or whatever, but the big guy who created smash bros has been posting updates 5 days a week NON STOP. At least let the guy have his time off without questioning why. No one is gonna die if they can't get new updates all the time. i know the ones at gamefaqs do, and that's because they are major fanatics.

That's true, even thought I do occasionally miss just looking at it, with the anticipation of a new update. But hey, this boards still been active without the updates, so it's all good!
