Do each galaxy have only one comet go to them?

If you're confused by the question, I'll elaborate.

Let's say that the Speedy Comet is over the Good Egg Galaxy (I did get the comet star on good egg from a speedy comet). Is it possible that if I ignore or don't complete that comet level, a Fast Foe comet or Cosmic Comet could go to it later?

Nope. Only TWO comets. One is either the Cosmic Comet, Fast Foe Comet, Daredevil Comet or Speed Run Comet while the other is the Purple Coin Comet.

For example, this is always how the main ones are:

Speed Run Levels

Good Egg Galaxy- Dino Piranha
Space Junk Galaxy- Pull Star Path
Dusty Dune Galaxy- Blasting through the Sand
Dreadnought Galaxy- Topman Tribe

Daredevil Levels

Battlerock- Topmaniac (they could have chose a more difficult boss for this star...)
Ghostly Galaxy- Bouldergeist
Gusty Gardens- Major Burrows
Deep Dark Galaxy- Kamella
Melty Molten Galaxy- Lava Spire (not a boss)
