Although I don't think it should be a character, it has plenty of possible moves. Pretty much every pokemon except Kakuna/Metapod or Magikarp has at least four attacks.

A large percentage of Pokemon don't have a capable recovery move.
They stretched it far with vine whip for Ivysaur.

True, very true. Grass types would have a saving move. Any with wings would have a recovery move. Psychics would. Because Mewtwo had one in Melee. Mew and Ditto would just be able to transform in a Pokemon with a recovery move...

Get what you mean though. Like trying to think up a recovery attack for freaking Golem. Or watching Magikarp when in danger:

'Splash. Splash. [Plummets off edge]'

Any further character updates should be returning characters (Capt Falcon, Sheik, Ganondorf, Mewtwo and Jiggs)

Magikarp's is as useless as a paper bag vs. Giratina (lv.100)only move=splash vs. ghost(even with flail and tackle)

And what about goldeen and magiccrap? They were probly just invented to make fishers easy...

What are you talking about? In a recent interview with the owner of Megaman, he said Sakurai hasn't even asked him yet, that and if he did ask he would gladly let them use him.
