View Full Version : What Kind of Place do you think Great Fish Isle would have been like?

In The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker, had Ganondorf not totally obliterated all life in the area and reduced it to a few broken islands which look like a hurricane hit?
Would it have been another town? A small village? Any interesting focal points there may have been? It does seem rather village like from what is left, so is that a clue?

prolly like a tradeing post/maybe small village possibly even a "lake house: (like ones build alittle off shore)
I say trading post because of the rafts and stuff..

Those are some good suggestions. Any ideas on what the local dungeon and stuff would have been?

That would be very like Ocarina of Time if true, where you were inside a similar/the same fish.

idk what the dungeon would've been like, but it probably would've been a water dungeon. I think the island would've been a big town like Windfall.

I don't think it would be populated. I think it would be barren, like most of the islands.

yea they should make another game like windwaker only make all the islands more alive :P
wind waker had a lot to do but it seemed rather empty to me..

I have a dream that in some future generation of gaming, we will have another WW sequel where the islands are as big as the overworld in TP. Except they won't have big empty places like TP, there will be several villages. Has anyone played Oblivion? I heard the overworld is massive in that game.

That will take a very long time. Heck, even the highest end PC games don't have worlds near that big, in 3D with a lot of detail.

Yup, hopefully I'm still into gaming when we get to that point. And if there isn't a whole village of Salvator and his relatives that all act like him I will be upset.

How the heck will a small boat fit a horse in it? Unless of course Link gets a proper sized sailing boat.
