Item balance

Do you think the items are balanced fairly? I think not. I had way too many races where when I am winning, I get bombed by Red Shells and Spiny Shells, but the minute I start to lose, where's my help? And I mostly use the standard karts so I shouldn't be getting ripped off by the items so much.

No, because the AI gets better items and the items are supposed to depend on your position in the race.

I don`t like the standard karts. Their mini turbo doesn`t last longer, but that`s just me.

I don't as well, because the Dry Bomber, Egg1 and ROB BLS are just so much better than them in every possible way.

You want to know why I got over 20 looses? Back then, use to pick Mario and his standard kart. I won many races with that kart and I was snaking with it. Until picked Yoshi and egg 1, I was surprised on this kart because it`s turbo is fast. I won more races with the egg 1 than the standard kart.

It always does suck when you realise the kart you were using for ages was rubbish, eh? Oh, and as soon as I unlocked it I liked using the Dry Bomber. Something about that kart is just awesome.

I didn`t know there was a powerful kart when I was using that standard kart. The egg 1 replaced it.

Heh. But now, more top time trialers are moving towards using the ROB BLS for many courses.

Sorry, but wow.... they now even use the ROB BLS for Choco Mountain, Banshee Boardwalk and Shroom Ridge!

It`s a shame snaking may not appear again in the next Mario Kart. Sometimes I depend on speed than just items.

It probably will though, as mini turbos will, and SSMT likely will. Plus, new shortcuts and glitches!

An option to do both, or race who you want would be good. They should ignore the trolls who say the extremist arguments for both sides though.

If people can`t beat snakers, join them. It`s the only way for the argument to end.

I rather Nintendo give people online the choice to play with snakers or non snakers instead of forcing people to learn a "hidden" technique that some may not like.




and for you guys that said the standards suck for snaking, i can't really say that for the Yoshi Standard since i had beaten snakers with that kart.

Depends mainly though. You can't say Wario's, DK's or Bowser's Standard Karts are great karts for SSMT.

All karts can snake. It`s just the egg 1 and Dry Bomber has a better mini turbo.

Luigi's Standard is snakable too based from my experience.
