Well, yes. Thought i would just put this here to let people who may not know about them, know about them...Anyway..

Got a couple of sites, one being http://www.mariokartdisconnectors.com and the other being http://www.theplacetowii.co.uk - feel free to check them out, and sign up the forums there, take part in the competitions and try and win some prizes!

So yes..thats about it from me - feel free to say something back to me :P

Okay. I have no comments on The Place to Wii, apart from that is looks totally fine so far, and while the forum is a little inactive, it should eventually turn out to be a great site (and good progess so far).

However, the Mario Kart Disconnectors site still leaves me a bit confused. For example, there is no real FAQ from what I can tell, I can never tell if the forum requires paid membership and I am sure there are a few style glitches in the forum:

Footer stops short.

Luigi's Kart breaks at narrow screen resolutions.

I will also say there are too many ads on the forum, and you may want to try some more on the main pages to split it up a bit.

I hope you found my advice helpful, and I would be grateful if you said any errors on this site as well. By the way, I used Mozilla Firefox 2.0 for this testing.

I wouldnt say the forum is inactive =/ we normally have 12 people on there at one time each day at least...as for the disconnectors thing, you must have a low resolution in order to have it like that, it is suppose to be run in 1024*768 res. - Have to make a point of telling people that, but it has only been up a couple of days :P

Okay. And I was just testing, as sites should ideally look and work pretty similar in various screen resolutions. P.S. If you are using CSS layout, using max and min width in the stylesheet to stop the effect I pointed out occurring.

i know..but i dont know anyone at all who uses a res lower than 1024*768

Nothing to do with me whatsoever. He obviously misheard what I said, as I said to advertise on GAMEFAQs, not your site. His actions are not supported by me, sorry.

Oh, and two things:

Like the new navigation images?

Accept the affiliation offer yet, or decline?

Oh, and I don't join other forums much now, as I joined so many in the past it seems everywhere has an account for me. I now don't even register on affiliate site forums.

Dunno about the navi images...they look sort of...basic =/

Sprites are basic in how they are. Even the best ones. Need two more images there though, as there is a gap because I did not make a Legend of Zelda one yet.

They could still look a bit better..they kinda look like they are done in paint 1 pixel at a time appose to other and better ways.

That's because sprites are, even those at the Spriters Resource.

I know..but even so, maybes its because the backgrounds are plain and they are very close together..

Right, well anyway i shall now get this back onto target again and that is me advertising this site..

The site is now even better and the url for the site is http://www.theplacetowii.co.uk

So now i shall tell you everything that we do at the site now, and more specifically the forum and everything it now does and hopefully you will like what you hear(well read) and will have a look and hopefully sign up.

Right well down to it then, we now have a section for Technical help regarding the Wii, the Gamecube, General Tech help and FAQ's, all are run by our excellent mods who have a wealth of experience in the Wii and general computer area.

We also have a total of 6 different competitions running where you can win anything from GC games, to Wii Points, to Brand new Wii games.

We have a cheat section of GC, Wii and VC games and if there is a cheat for a game you cannot find, then we shall find it for you.

We also do some great reviews for Wii, GC and VC games.

Also brand new to the site is a Star Points system, you can earn stars for anything from winning comps, helping on the site and more - you will then be able to trade your star points for loads of great stuff, from merchandise, to wii items, to wii games.

Finally we also have now opened an Online Marketplace where people can safety buy and sell there unwanted games and merchandise of all sorts.

So yes, that is some of the things our site has to offer, and if you think you would be interested in joining, then please head over to http://www.theplacetowii.co.uk and sign up to the forum to take part, i am sure you will find it a really great place filled with loads of friendly people ready to help.

Thanks for reading!

You should include about both sides in one post, as the post limit is long enough to allow for this. Oh, and to be a little blunt, the reason the backgrounds for the nav images look plain is because I can draw sprites, but not sprite backgrounds well.
