Pokemon Board

Keep the D/P board up top, but definitely give Pokemon it's own board. DSU is getting bigger, and I am thinking about writing some stuff about Pokemon, and posting a lot about Leafgreen (which I just got). Pokemon is Nintendo's biggest handheld game series, and i think it deserves it's own board. Don't you?

Also, when a new Pokemon game is made, I think it would be best to have it have it's own forum for a couple months, then move all those threads into the Pokemon board. Anyone else agree?

Because Dimaond/Pearl is a recent and popular DS game. The Diamond/Pearl board will be for that game, and eventually Diamond and Pearl will be moved to the Pokemon board, and the newer game(s) will take it's place under Mario Kart and all those other (still popular) DS games. Make any sense?

You can talk about the old Pokemon games in the D/P board so that`s basically saying that you want Cheat to change the name of the Pokemon D/P board.

Nah, not really. I understand that there's a good minority here for it, but I have a feeling the interest with it will die down once the need has been satiated. Thus, we will end up with another dead board.

I think a Pokemon board (not just diamond and pearl board) is a good idea. Let's say within this year a new version of Pokemon is released like the rumored gold and silver remake (:D). What will happen then, just a new board for it? Even if a new pokemon game doesn't happen anytime soon, I still would like the choice to be able to talk about older pokemon games, and NOT get in trouble for putting it in the wrong forum.
