I disagree. I had my USB Drive, DS, Phone and and SD card all in the same pocket as a decent magnet and nothing happened.

Don't open and close it too much.(ds lite white) I got a gaping hole in the left of my hinge and then the screen cable broke so I basically had to get a new top half...now it clicks whenever I open or close it.

Don't let your siblings play it while they're walking.... they're bound to drop and when they do the bottom screen won't work anymore.

laharl
23rd February 2008, 05:15 PM

Even though I haven't damaged my DS in any way, here is a tip. Please keep food and drinks away from it.

Remember, the DS is like a computer(but to a lesser extent). If you spill liquid on it, it will most likely stop working. Sure, it will not cause a fire like a PC will, but your DS is only good for a paperweight now.

As a resourceful pc user and gamer, my belief is that if you want to eat and/or drink something, you should break away from the electronic hardware and go to the kitchen/wherever for your meal. That's what I do. Even when I'm playing a video game, I do not have a drink nearby- something several other people do. It basically gives me something to look forward to when I take a hand eye break from gaming.

*Cracks knuckles* Let the mayhem begin. Do not:

Light it on fire
Leave it out in the snow
Put it in the washer with your clothes
Drop it down/off/out of: Stairs, roof, balcony, plane, moving vehicle...
Give it to this guy ( 'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM3TSj60MOM')
Step on it
Run it over
Let a 2 year old play around with it while in possesion of an object to hit with
Give it to an anal PS fanboy
Give it to this guy ( 'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wVADKznOhY')
Let an animal pee on it, bury it, eat it, steal it...
Use it as a lightning rod
Hadoken it

The list goes on...

>_> That whole list was a joke (though some of the things on the list can happen very easily by accident) and was meant to give people a couple of chuckles, especially the videos.
