After all the major whiners who complain how the New Super Mario Bros save system is inconveniant, do you feel thankful for being able to save with completing a level or at any time rather than passwords or no saving?

I sure do, as Super Mario Land was a pain because of that, and you had to start all over again when you got game over, or decided to quit for the night. Passwords were not that great either, and I feel sorry for someone who had to play through Super Mario Bros 3 without saving.

So do you feel saving has enhanced modern games?

Yes i do i love the ability to just save my game. I like games were i can save anywhere best thou cause then u can play a bit an quit an come back later an play a bit. but even if theres only certain places to save its still a great addtion to Video games. I think its a nesseacery thing for most games now a days.. with games like FF12 that are 200+ hrs whos gonna play that stright throu?

I would if I had nothing else to look forward to in life.

I certainly am grateful, as the worst thing in games for me is having to start over from the beginning with no save points, and I don't get how some really bad games don't realise how annoying this is.
