Clan Start

Hmmm.. what I think this site should do(and there was a topic about it which from what I've seen never got anything done about it), is make a DSU online clan, it'd be awesome.

Best bet is not to bother yet. Wait until Brawl comes out or something and make it about that, since Metroid Prime Hunters is a generally dead game (because of hackers and disconnectors partly). Clans set up for the older DS games now will generally not succeed so well...

I disagree, clan wars do not have AR hackers in them, and if they do, clans should warn and eventually kick them. Thus, clans for MPH, MKDS, and others that have Wi-Fi flooded with AR could succeed much more than you think. So clans would make MPH and MKDS awesome. Despite what people think... there are still many MPH players on Wi-Fi. I don't play Wi-Fi anymore because I want to join a clan so I don't have to face hackers. *points to my first post in this topic* Preferably a DSU clan.

Those were doing well though because they started at the game's prime. Many started in at LEAST October in 2007, and even more started in 2006 or earlier. This was when the game was a bit more active. You can keep an active site going LONG after something is old, hence how some forums for things like dead TV shows go on for years after it's cancellation. However, starting one up afterwards is more difficult.

Plus, it's saturation. Wifi clans are extremely common now, and starting one up now means trying to fight three million other clans for your member base. It's also true of gaming forums in general (Gamespot type ones), Webmaster/Website design/technology forums, anime forums and general chat forums. There are MILLIONS which you need to compete with making new sites have very low success chances.
