In the first few months of the Nintendo DS' lifespan, there was a serious drought of good games. Then came along a jewel, this jewel was the game Yoshi's Touch & Go. It retells the story of Yoshis Island through 4 different game types.

The game is all controlled via the stylus and microphone. The first act of almost all the game modes is to guide Baby Mario down to the ground (he has been dropped by the Stork). You must draw paths for him to follow and inclose enemies in clouds to protect him. The more coins you collect the better colour of yoshi you will get. The better the score the more eggs your Yoshi will be able to hold. If your clouds get messy just blow in the microphone to blow the clouds away.

Once on the ground you control Yoshi where he has to do several tasks depending on the game mode. He may have to save Baby Luigi from Kamek or try to get Mario back to the Stork. Yoshi moves on a pre-set path always moving right, you can alter it by tapping it to jump or drawing paths via clouds. Also when you see an enemy you can circle it in a cloud or throw an egg at it. To throw an egg you just have to tap the screen. Most of the action happens on the bottom screen but you will notice enemies and coins on the top.

Yoshi saves mario and in turn saves gaming!

The game has a lot of replay value if you like old arcade games and you'll find yourself trying to beat your old high-scores over and over. There are no big boss battles or level progression just one randomly generated level that you must progress through. If you're not a fan of a game that doesn't have a story and bosses then stay away.

Final Score:

Gameplay - 10
The controls are fantastic and the different gameplay modes differ the concept.

Graphics- 9
This game is beautiful, looks like a less crayoned version of Yoshi Island. It has a great style.

Sound- 7
Although the songs are great you'll be wishing for more songs. There are only a few different tunes in the game.

Replay Value- 8
The game doesn't last long but if you like to beat high scores this game will be in your DS for a while.

Overall- 34/40

Doesn't matter if you did or didn't... just the fact you posted three reviews in your first day is pretty impressive.
