This is the thread where you can talk about how the saying "Gameplay over Graphics" is oh so true.
The reason I made this thread is because I was on Gamespot looking at the posts for Ocarina of Time on VC. I saw someone posted something saying how bad Zelda was because it's graphics were nothing compared to Halo and Resistance.
Not trying to make any threats, but I wanted to [[severely injure]] him. Has he never played a Zelda game. It's not about the graphics, it's about the gameplay. They don't get that and the more and more you tell them, the more they seem to not care. Sounding pretty "toolish", but they aren't "real gamers."
Gameplay over Graphics all the way for me.

Ouch. Someone flamed what many consider one of the best games of all time (with Super Mario 64 and World, A Link to the Past, Goldeneye and other such games)? That shows pretty much no respect for the past for all I am concerned.
I agree though that gameplay is way more important that graphics. I recently played some old GBA games on my DS. Was I disappointed by the graphics? No, because the gameplay was good. Besides, I find the gameplay quite good for games like Balloon Fight and the original Legend of Zelda, and no one would ever consider them to have good graphics, mainly because they were from years ago. So yes, gameplay matters more than graphics to me.

Sweet.
We read each other.
Do you mind posting this much, because if you don't want to, then I'll stop posting so much.
[[then again, why would you be answering my posts... nahh ... whatever.]]Koops}

I don't mind answering people's posts. I always answer posts from other active members, like Nintendan, who posts in like 50 topics a day.

Haha. That's what I like to do. But I wasn't allowed to on my other forum.
I'm glad I joined!

Gameplay is better. For all the graphic people are not true gamers. I was just having fun with an old game today.

Agreed. Nor are those gamers who are stupid enough to buy many EA sports games year after year just for graphic updates. I mean, I understand buying each of the ones with major differences from the last, but why buy one because of a camera features or because the grass is greener?

haha but people do,
and that's why EA keeps making them.
...and that's why they're rolling in a profit.

Which is not a good thing, as I heard EA made great, original games before like the Nintendo 64 and Playstation era.
