Now, I must have miraculous luck as for some reason, even through the huge disasters that occured to my Nintendo DS games, not one broke or got erased in any way.
1- My cousin accidentally dropped my Mario and Luigi Partners in Time game in a glass of Sprite mixed with Orange, and the game still works perfectly fine with no damage to any of the files at all.
2- I accidentally dropped my DS pretty hard and it froze Yoshi's Island DS and the GBA game flew out, but neither the DS or GBA game was affected in a bad way, and both worked fine. The DS did not have a scratch either.

Oh, and for another thing, for Gamecube I accidentally inserted two games on top of one another and turned on the console and one of the games could actually be played, and no save data was affected.

The GCN one's funny! My experiences are:
1) Dropped my DS on concrete, but it still worked
2) Dropped it again, this time on the corner of a concrete staircase...
3) 'Headbutted' it (DO NOT ASK WHY) causing it to black out, and the only way to get it to play the games was by fully pushing it in. If I just normally put it in and left it, it did not read anything
After all that, it's fine! Can you believe it? I know I can!

Wow, you're pretty unlucky as well, and headbutting the DS?

Yeah... because your DS was somewhere else when you fell down the stairs lol... but seriously, I bet if I so much as flicked my DS it'll blow up like a Nuclear.... I mean Nucular (*coughgeorgewbushcough*) Bomb

Has your DS broke before? Because it must have I presume if you think it would explode if you did anything wrong to it?

That's kind of why I dropped it a few times as well. Very small console the DS Lite is.

You guys are clutzes. I've never droped my DS. My old SP is a different story.
1. Dropped it on my very hard kitchen floor (still worked)
2. Droppe in same place (still worked)
3. Stood on it while closed (still worked)
So, I was pretty lucky when it came to my SP.

Nintendo consoles must be indestructible to withstand all this!

Back then I weighed very little, so when I stood on it, it shouldn't have taken much damage.

I know, but dropping it on the floor should have done something.

Wow, that's a very tough Gamecube... But a more fair test:
A- Drop the Gamecube, Xbox and PS2 off some very, very, 120 story high building
B- Drop an anvil on each of them.

I've dropped my DS like 14 times, and all it has is some little scratches.

Well... On my no alert run on MGS3, I was right infront of a guard and he only said "huh, who is that?" I ran screaming expletives.
In the real world, probably when I got the last DS in stock :)
